Quill & Scroll didn’t appear out of nowhere — it grew quietly inside me for years, long before it had a name, long before it became an e-shop.
It began in childhood, with an irresistible love for stationery. I wasn’t just the child who liked notebooks — I lived for them. I could spend hours in a bookshop or stationery store, watching at the shelves, running my fingers over smooth covers, opening pages to breathe in that faint scent of fresh paper. I would stand in front of rows of pencils, pens, rulers, and erasers as if they were treasures in a secret museum, imagining the worlds I could create with them.
Every pen felt like a magic wand, every blank page like an untouched field of snow, waiting for the first footprints. I loved arranging my small “collection” at home — lining up my notebooks, sharpening pencils until the tips were perfect, filling pages with neat handwriting, as if the way the letters looked was as important as the words themselves.
Back then, it was just a joy — a small, everyday ritual of beauty and order. I didn’t know it would one day become my life’s work. But looking back, I see it clearly - every sheet of paper, every pen, every visit to a stationery store was quietly shaping the person I would become.
When Quill & Scroll was born, it felt like that childhood magic finally had a home. I wanted to create products that were more than just notebooks or planners — I wanted them to be vessels for stories, dreams, ideas, and gratitude.
The journey from an idea to a finished product is long and intricate. Every item you see in my e-shop has passed through many stages:
- Designing & dreaming - sketching concepts, imagining how the product will feel in someone’s hands.
- Selecting the perfect paper - the kind that’s a pleasure to touch and write on, that works beautifully with different pens.
- Choosing quotes & words — I write texts myself, I search for the perfect quotes that will inspire, comfort, or encourage.
- Exploring printing trends — staying informed about materials, finishes, and techniques that bring each design to life.
Every notebook, diary, or journal is the result of countless hours of research, trial, and refinement. I believe in taking time - because what you write in deserves a home that’s been made with care.
Writing is my other great love. I pour my heart into my own books and work hard to translate them into English with the same feeling and rhythm as the originals. Quill & Scroll products often carry the same tone — literary, thoughtful, and timeless.
