“If what you do costs you your peace, the price is too high.” (Paulo Coelho)

Aspiration is a beautiful thing—admirable, even—when you pay a fair price for it.

Having a goal and striving for it is what drives us. That drive moves us forward, helps us create value, shapes our memories. We grow. We search for ways to be better, to do better. We make mistakes, we learn from them. And we keep reminding ourselves: nothing in life comes for free. Everything has its cost.

Aspiration is our path.

The price we pay is our peace—our inner harmony.

The journey is our flight through that peace. And it will remain perfect as long as it’s wrapped in grace. As long as we are at peace with ourselves. As long as serenity reigns within us.

Yes, nothing in life is free. And only we can decide what price we’re willing to pay for our own goals, dreams, and ambitions. Let that price be just right—so that the outcome feels complete, and within us dwell not only joy, but also unspent energy, our own calm, our own quiet peace.

I look into the distance… The road ahead is still long. But lately, I’ve learned to slow down—to walk, not rush. When you stumble, it hurts less that way. And really, is there any point in hurrying? In scattering yourself in all directions just to collapse in exhaustion later? No… I walk and I savour it.

The goal is out there—maybe not quite within reach yet, but clear as daylight. And I’m not tired. I haven’t lost my head. I am calm—deeply calm. I’m paying the price for my goal, and for now, I know it’s not too high. Because I’m moving toward it—and I’m enjoying the journey.
